In a place where few families can afford new cars, and second-, third-, and even fourth-hand cars are coveted — the $2,000 Nano has lifted the nation’s working class into an elated frenzy. Some 350,000 people have paid an $80 deposit to enter a lottery, in which only 100,000 lucky folks get to drive one home in the next year.
